Krishna’s Lila in Vrndavana is prakata or manifest Lila, and the same is going on eternally in the spiritual realm, which is known as aprakata or nonmanifest. Krishna’s planet and Krishna’s pastimes are going on eternally, and the same is manifested before the conditioned souls at certain intervals, once in one day of Brahma, exactly as the sun is visible for 12 hours once a 24 hour cycle of and night. When the sun is visible it is called prakata, and when the sun is not visible that is called aprakata or unmanifested.  Nonmanifested therefore does not mean there is no existence, but the terms are used in relation to the visibility or nonvisibility to the limited conditioned souls. The Bhakti Centre Rath Cart built by Janmejaya Prabhu was decorated by HG Dhruva Prabhu and HG Sukla Mataji. HH Ramai Swami led the kirtan and opening ceremonies. Our dearest Ekadasi (previously named Emily) arrived in Gita Nagari in 2010. She was purchased along with Jalangi (Josie) from a neighboring farmer. She is a thorough bred Brown Swiss, very beautiful and healthy and gave good, delicious milk to Sri Sri Radha Damaodara for about two and a half years. She was gentle – occasionally, she would be a little feisty. But she was always curious, very observant of any new people around, any new occurrences on the farm. Three people died of poisonous insect bite in villages around Barsana. Though the rains are good for the fields to grow the crops, villagers have always been worried about mosquitoes, which spreads different diseases. The villagers usually take measures to protect themselves from mosquito bites, but this year they are scared of an unknown insect bite that has killed three villagers. This past week many devotees increased their chanting of the holy names. We had a different group of devotees going out for Nagar Sankirtan every day from the 5th to the 12th. The different groups were the Mayapur brahmacharis, Indian council, Mayapur management, International high school, International primary school, the ISCKON security department, Jagannath temple devotees, Bhaktivedanta National school, and even our various shop keepers organized their own Hari-nam party.

“The widows who migrate to Vrindavan should be rehabilitated in their native states. There are temples and pilgrimage places in their native states too. The state governments should build widow shelter homes in their respective states,” said Hema Malini, the Member of Parliament from Mathura.

She wondered, “When the temples and other religious places are already there in those states, then why do they migrate here?” She was visiting some of the widow shelter homes in Vrindavan. She said that she will talk to the Chief Minister of West Bengal about facilitating the widows in their native state. A large number of widows come from there and Bihar to stay in Vrindavan. Indradyumna Swami: Moldova is a beautiful landlocked country with 3.5 million people in Eastern Europe. It is boardered by Romania and Ukraine. ISKCON has two temples there with 300 hundred active devotees. During my visit I participated in several television shows, numerous newspaper interviews, 2 very large public programs, harinams and a meeting with a number of distinquished personalities.
