My dear King, although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: Simply by chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom. SB 12.3.51

Oh, how glorious are they whose tongues are chanting Your holy name! Even if born in the families of dog-eaters, such persons are worshipable. Persons who chant the holy name of Your Lordship must have executed all kinds of austerities and fire sacrifices and achieved all the good manners of the Aryans. To be chanting the holy name of Your Lordship, they must have bathed at holy places of pilgrimage, studied the Vedas and fulfilled everything required. SB 3.33.7 
Indradyumna Swami: Krsna’s devotees are preparing for one of ISKCON’s biggest yajna’s in it’s history: Krsna’s Village of Peace at the 20th annual Woodstock Festival in Poland. Over 700,000 people are expected. 700 devotees from 14 different countries are arriving and helping to set up Krsna’s Village. We plan endless kirtans, spiritual discourses, daily Ratha Yatras through the masses and a goal to distribute 130,000 full plates of prasadam. Big preaching at it’s best just days away!

By the mercy of Srila Prabhupada New Namahatta center as “HARE KRISHNA BHAJAN KUTIR” opened on 6th July at Aruppukottai 40Km from Madurai South Tamilnadu. HG Shankadhari Prabhu Temple president Madurai & ISKCON Indan Bureau inaugurated . Program started from Mangala Arthi fallowed by Darshan Arthi , Name board opening, Srimad Bhagavatam lecture and Prasadham, 500 to 600 devotes visited and about 550 plates of prasadham distributed till 3pm. Asia’s largest cotton spinning industry Chairman T.R Dhinakaran and Ramco cement factory manager also take part in festival and enjoyed the Keerthan . We mainly focus on school collage youths and village preaching.

His Holiness Kavicandra Swami has appeared on a front page newspaper in Nigeria, advising Nigerians to be God conscious. He gave the advice recently in the temple when Journalists visited him to speak on the current crisis facing Nigeria. His Holiness said, unless society turned to Krishna by giving everything to Krishna, society will never be in peace. Swami noted that nothing happens independently but by proper arrangement of Krishna.

“Chanting is the greatest act of piety and the supreme refuge. Even the words of the Vedas do not possess sufficient power to its magnitude. Chanting is the highest path to liberation, peace and eternal life. It is the pinnacle of devotion, the heart’s joyous proclivity and attraction and the best form of remembrance of the Supreme Lord. The holy name has appeared solely for the benefit of the living entities as their Lord and master, their supreme worshipable object and their spiritual guide and mentor. 
Vaishnavas do not accept anything until it has first been offered to the Deity. Before foodstuffs are offered to the Lord, they are referred to as bhoga (enjoyment). Once they have been offered with heartfelt prayer to the Lord, then they are understood to have been tasted by Him and are then known as prasadam or “mercy.” The food has become blessed or sanctified, and we can make spiritual progress by partaking of Lord Krishna’s remnants.

Indradyumna Swami: We are halfway through our summer festival tour here in Poland. Last night we presented our new theater production, ‘Usa and Aniruddha.’ People loved it. Today we are packing up and moving our base 400 kilometers west to Kostrzyn Nad Odra to begin preparations for the great Woodstock Festival. This will be our 20th year of participating in the event and we have bigger plans than ever! One time Srila Prabhupada requested his disciples to, “Think big.” As his servants our lives are meant for fulfilling his desires. Jai Srila Prabhupada! 
The smell of herbs and chants. I do not know what you’re thinking, but we are talking about the Indian festival “Ratha Yatra”. This “festival of chariots” already visited most of Ukraine, and recently visited Dnepropetrovsk.
Every morning, seven days a week, she wakes the Deities and makes the mangala sweet offering. She says one of the reasons she likes to wake the Deities daily is because, “They wake us up.” Then she offers the mangala aratik. Every day since 1979 her service has been to bathe and dress Chota Radha Govinda. When she goes on pilgrimage or on the rare occasion is ill, it takes five devotees to cover her services.

The new Mayor of Harrow officially opened the Summer Fayre at the Krishna Avanti School on Camrose Avenue. The fair was all about raising funds for a new minibus for the school and a great time was had by all.
I’d like to inform you that our family (_______ prabhu, myself and our daughter ______) had to to move to Krasnodar (Russia). Before the war started we had lived in the downtown of Lugansk and planned to stay at the downtown and perform service in the yatra of Alchevsk. When the military operations intensified, our home turned out to be on the front line but till the last moment I had hoped that the war would be over soon. With great disappointment I can tell you that I am still quite strongly attached to everyday material conditions of life. It was difficult for me to leave everything: my friends, yatra, job, career, relatives – and go to some unknown situation. We left the very day when Lugansk was attacked by mortars and the next street became the battlefield. My brother followed me and found himself under air bombardment. We failed to evacuate my father. By Krishna’s mercy all of us survived. I was really scared to cross the border, which was fired on by snipers. _______ turned on the Narasimha kirtan in the car and we thought that if we are shot we might hear the Holy Name at the last moment. For the month we had lived in the area of military operations we had prayed to the Lord for help many times but perhaps our material attachments were stronger than intelligence, which insisted on moving to some safe place. 
On 20 th July few days ago ISKCON in Jogjakarta held Ratha Yatra for the 1st time in Jogjakarta. It was in Bantul one of Jogjakarta’s region. Actually we got invitation for 183 Anniversary of Bantul City. After we attained the Anniversary ceremony than we did the Ratha Yatra parade. The Ratha Yatra end in Mayor’s office of Bantul city.

ISKCON (Hong Kong) participates in the HK International Book Fair, as usual, we have 2 booths selling books. over 1.200,000 visits were recorded last year, and this year the organizer is expecting another record. 
This week was spent with HH Kadamba Kanana Swami. The students learnt all about the history and tradition of kirtan and how music is an integral part of the spiritual world. The students also learnt about the prominent/pioneer kirtaniyas in ISKCON from Yamuna devi and Acyutananda to Vishnujana Swami and Govinda Maharaja to Aindra prabhu and Madhava
Remembrance of the Lord is the most effective penance; the Vedas always recommend imperiled brahmanas to meditate upon the lotus feet of Lord Visnu for protection. Remembering the Lord’s name is the same as meditating upon His lotus feet. The holy name can disperse all previous offenses, for it acts as the devotee’s best friend. The Lord is an ocean of mercy and forgiveness. Like a dear friend, he forgives one for previous mistakes. 
“In the age of Kali, intelligent persons peform congregational chanting to worship the incarnation of Godhead who constantly sings the names of Krishna. Although His complexion is not blackish, He is Krishna Himself. He is accompanied by His associates, servants, weapons and confidential companions.” 
Great afternoon at Temple Street UK. Initiation (diksa) is the transmission of transcendental knowledge (divya-jnana). The meaning of diksa is to surrender and follow the instructions of the genuine spiritual master who is an authorized representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Each one of these features is fully potent and able to express Him in totality. They exist and are sustained by the Lord’s sandhini potency, and they are eternal and transcendental. As Lord Krsna attracts all living entities, similarly the holy name, which is not different from Him, also attracts everyone. 
The Mathura Vrindavan Development Authority (MVDA) has made a blue print to beautify the approach roads leading to the different heritage sites of Vraj, which fall under the Mathura District. While beautifying the approach roads, the surrounding lanes around the heritage temples will also be repaired. The plan also includes the building of public conveniences around the heritage sites. The plan includes Mathura, Vrindavan, Goverdhan, Nand Gaon,Varsana, Gokul and Baldeo. Gokul, Baldeo and Varsana don’t come under the periphery of the MVDA. Varsana will be soon included in the MVDA area, as the proposal of its inclusion has been resolved in its board meeting. 
The Lord, considering the jivas’ welfare, descended in Kali-yuga along with His holy name to propagate the yugadharma (the religion of the age). By taking up the yugadharma the jiva attains love of Krsna: he has only to remember the Supreme Lord’s name (namasmarana or japa) and chant the Lord’s name congregationally (namasankirtan). 
The temple is situated in New South Wales’ picturesque Tweed Valley, full of lush green mountains, rolling farmland, and towering rainforests, and often capped by neverending blue skies. The climate is sub-tropical, and the temple lies forty minutes from the beach. The nearest town, Murwillumbah, has a population of only 13,000, mostly farmers, but has an alternative flair with many vegetarians and lots of other religious/spiritual denominations.
