Negara is a city situated in Western Bali around two and a half hours from Denpasar. It is the capital of Jembrana and has a population of around 300,000. On the 1st of September 2018, in conjunction with the cities’ 123rd anniversary, devotees held a grand Ratha Yatra celebration. This was the second time the festival was held with the first being on a small scale in 2010; 8 years prior.
